There
are few thing worse than stepping into really deep hole on a cold spring
day while wading in your favorite stream and realizing that you decided
earlier that day to only put your hip waders. One of those of course
is when you slammed the tailgate of your truck with such hostility when
you saw your chest waders sitting there mocking your soaking wet pants
and smashed your favorite fly rod in half because you threw it the back
of the pickup without putting in the case when you were already wet
and crabby!

This
typically cannot be fixed, but with a lot of work, if the bad section
is short, it can be cut out. The rod will be shorter and can be spliced
at that point, but it will never be the same or as strong as it once
was. Although, if you are in need of some repair for one of your
rods because it has some damage of a slightly less tragic nature, we
may be able to be of assistance. If you are in need of a new guide put
on or a cork grip to be replaced Lund's can help.
